All information disclosed during sessions is strictly confidential. However there are some professional and legal limits to confidentiality. The issues around confidentiality are discussed at length during the assessment session: All the counsellors at Chrysalis Counselling Centre work within the BACP Code of Ethics. As accrediated members of BACP, We are bound by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure therein.
