Mary Brannigan Co Director and Co-founder is a Counselling Psychologist and a BACP Accredited Counsellor. Mary originally began her career in nursing before completing a BSc degree in Psychology in 1993 and then an MSc in Counselling Psychology in 1997. Since then she has worked as a counsellor in a variety of specialist and generic agencies with wide and varied client groups. As well as specialising in eating disorders she also works with a wide range of mental health problems. Mary works both short term 6-12 sessions and longer term for more in depth issues. She uses CBT, Psychodynamic and Integrative therapy with individual clients and couples. Mary also provides counselling supervision for other counsellors as well as being an experienced Group Facilitator.

 

 Eva McAlea Co Director and Co founder is a BACP Accredited Counsellor. In 1996 she graduated from Coventry University with a degree in Applied Social Sciences and completed a diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in 2004. Eva is a BACP Accredited Counsellor and has worked in several voluntary agencies providing counselling and support for the last fifteen years, including The Samaritans and Nightline. Following Practitioner Skills training in 2005 at the National Centre for Eating Disorders in London, she has gone on to complete Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity training. Eva is also the Founder and Director of the Eating Disorders Network. Eva’s core model is CBT and she also utilises a person centred approach.
